We’ve just launched a new website for local Perth band, Big Old Bears. This straight forward site is the perfect platform to display the fantastic 1920′s sounds coming from this talented young band.

After only being together for a short time the Big Old Bears have already a lot to talk about with new EP titled ‘Tales Of You’ out in stores now, they’ve won a WAMI (West Australian Music Industry) award for ‘Song of the Year’ in the Blues and Roots section and they have quite a few shows coming up around Perth. We feel so lucky to have been able to work with such an exciting young group of creative people. Make sure to check out the Big Old Bears if you get the chance.

We are very excited to finally ‘show off’ one of our recent collaborations for a charity group known as Hunter Global Project. A few weeks ago we were approached by a close friend to loan our design skills for branding and website design in a very special project run by a very ambitious person.

This nonprofit charity was founded by Hunter Douglas Evans in 2009 at the age of 9 years old, Hunter decided that it can be possible to help less fortunate young people around the world that need our help. The sole purpose of this non-profit charity is to establish ongoing financial assistance to children in third world countries by helping provide acceptable education, health care and to basically provide a more improved life and future to the children that are living in severe poverty around the world that do not have hope for the future.

Once we heard this story we could not but pitch in and help. Working along with developers at Mammoth VPS we have created the brand identity, put this great design and CMS together within a matter of weeks. We don’t mess around!

We really urge everybody to help support Hunter and his goal to help the less fortunate in the world, we can all learn a lot from this young man.

Some awesome tech companies have banded together for the greater good and to encourage the rest of us Internet-savvy types to donate our hard-earned to do the same.
Donations made via Kill The Spill go to toward helping the National Wildlife Federation continue their amazing rescue of animals on the oil-stricken Southern beaches. Even better is the fact that Campaign Monitor, MetaLab, Squarespace and WooThemes will match your donation.

Please make a donation to this worthwhile cause and help the animals affected by the oil spill. We did.
